Bhagavatam · Gaya · Pitri Paksa
For their highest good.
Śrāddha (Shraadh) is sacred giving for our ancestors and loved ones. The greatest gift is knowledge — and Krsna in Book form, Srimad Bhagavatam, is the ripened fruit of all knowledge. Wherever it is kept, He stays.
The Bhāgavatam, home at last
- 1
“When Krsna is worshiped for a loved one's sake, that loved one is delivered to the supreme destination.”
Hari-bhakti-vilasa · 9.306–309
- 2
“Whoever gives Krsna a place in their loved one's memory has done everything needed for them.”
Hari-bhakti-vilasa · 9.310
- 3
“Wherever there is Srimad Bhagavatam, I go — like a cow fond of her calf.”
Skanda Purana · 2.5.16.52
Give a Bhagavatam on their behalf. Join the maha-yajna at Gaya offering this dedication to Krsna.
