FAQs
Where does my sponsored set go?
All sets are currently placed in villages in need by Graam Vidya Daan. Choosing a community credits its effort — it does not yet route the set for distribution locally to that community. Support for local fulfillment is planned for the near future. A set can also be sent to a particular village or another address in India when complete shipping information is coordinated with the fulfillment team.
How long does direct delivery take?
Direct deliveries usually arrive four to six weeks after the shipping information is received and the required lakshmi (funds) is transferred for fulfillment. A particular language set may take longer when it is out of stock or being reprinted.
What does community affiliation do?
It connects your sponsorship with the local ISKCON temple or community that inspired your service. The affiliation is recorded so sponsored sets can be credited to that community's book-distribution effort. Fulfillment currently remains with Graam Vidya Daan in India; local fulfillment through your community is planned for the near future.
When are village sets placed?
Village sponsorships are distributed in batches rather than on individual donor dates. After each batch, media and video updates are shared with donors showing the homes and villages reached.
What is my annual remembrance date?
It records the date connected with your loved one's remembrance and is used for the annual reminder in their name. Billing renews every six or twelve months from the subscription start date, depending on the plan. The remembrance date is not a promise that village distribution will happen on that exact day.
